Our Mission
At Connecticut Family Counseling, we are dedicated to providing compassionate counseling services. Our mission is to empower individuals and families to achieve emotional wellness and personal growth.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Family Therapist with a passion for supporting children, teens, young adults and families as they navigate life’s challenges. My approach is grounded in warmth, compassion, and collaboration—I believe the therapeutic relationship is at the heart of meaningful change.
I specialize in working with young people and their families, helping them build stronger, healthier relationships and develop the tools they need to thrive. I often use Attachment-Based Family Therapy, an evidence-based approach that focuses on repairing and strengthening parent–child relationships. This model helps create a foundation of trust, emotional safety, and open communication, which can reduce conflict, ease anxiety and depression, and restore a sense of connection within the family.
For children and teens, therapy is a safe and supportive space where they can express themselves openly, learn coping skills, and feel understood. For parents, I offer guidance and strategies to better support their child while also fostering deeper, more authentic connections at home.
To make therapy accessible and comfortable, I provide in-home services, bringing care directly to families in their own environment. This allows us to work in the context where many challenges arise and where healing connections can most naturally grow.
